Our approach
JW Quest uses the minimum data needed to provide accounts, protect the service and save learning progress. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Effective and last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Data we process
- Account data: display name, email address, authentication information and account role.
- Security data: registration and recent sign-in date, country code and IP address.
- Question reports: the reported question snapshot, language, time, account identifier when signed in, a browser identifier and IP address used to prevent duplicate or excessive reports.
- Notification interaction data: whether an in-app notice was viewed, closed or opened; signed-in accounts are identified by account ID, while guests are counted with an anonymous device identifier.
- Activity data: answered question identifiers, correctness, XP, level, streak, badges, chapter progress, discoveries and learning indicators.
- Device storage: selected language and guest progress may be stored locally in the browser or app WebView.
2. Why we use data
We use data to create and authenticate accounts, synchronize progress, calculate XP and badges, show journey statistics, prevent duplicate rewards, maintain security, troubleshoot errors and respond to support or deletion requests.
3. Service providers and external links
Cloudflare infrastructure is used for website delivery, API operation, security and data storage. Links to jw.org or wol.jw.org open external official resources governed by their own policies. We do not share data with advertising networks.
4. Security, retention and deletion
Account sessions use secure HttpOnly cookies and normal service traffic is transmitted over HTTPS. Account and progress data are retained while the account is active. After a verified deletion request, account-linked data is scheduled for permanent deletion within 30 days. Limited records may be retained only when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations; such records are minimized and not used for gameplay or marketing.
5. Your choices
You may use most games as a guest, change your language, sign out, request support, or request deletion of your account and associated data. Clearing browser/app storage removes guest-only local data from that device.
6. Contact
JW Quest is the service and developer name used for this policy. Privacy and data requests can be sent to contact@uguradsay.com.
